Oldenburger Frühlingsmarkt
Located on the area at the Weser-Ems Halle it offers more than 20.000 qm of fun and amusement. It is the first fair of the year. The a
ttraction includes rides and roundabouts which epecially appeal to families with children, who appreciate the attractive and clear straightforward fair. (Starting on the Saturday before Easter; lasting 9 days)
The fair of sup erlative s (Kramermarkt)
The fair of superlatives in the Northwest of Germany (coming in 5th place compared to the other big fairs in Germany) with 1.5 million visitors every year on the huge area next to the Weser-Ems Halle. the about 270 attractions of all kind include modern rides with guaranteed fun for everyone, renowned fairground showmen, big tents for beer/drinking and dancing. Generally it is starting at the end of september every year with a big parade.
Oldenburger Lambertimarkt (Chrismas Market)
Located between the Old City Hall and the venerable St. Lamberti Church, this pre-Chrismas market is told to be one of the most beatiful in northern Germany. Arts and crafts toys and Chrismas decoration from its offers while bright lights create a festive atmosphere.
Töpfermarkt
Artists-craftsmen from all over Germany and neighbouring countries show and sell their products and creations on the Schlossplatz. (The last weekend of the Kultursommer)
Stadtfest
For those of you who like to party light-heartedly in the open. Live-music for everyone`s taste and many possibilities for food and drink in all streets and alleys of the innercity; plus special offers by the business community and catering trade. (The last weekend in August, Thursday till Saturday)
Hafenfest
Located at Oldenburg`s old harbour "Stau", the market offers three days of real maritime entertainment, including fairground barkers, live-music, roundabouts, fish-market, "Pots and Pans" and specialities for bady and soul. ( Friday till Sunday following Whitsun)

Weinfest
You can enjoy German`s wines-whether fine or crisp-in all its varieties at the wine feast. The emphasis is put on tasting and advising
. With the help of music and small snacks an winegrower`s atmosphere is created on the Waffenplatz. (First or Second weekend in September)
Kultursommer
The cultural figurehead of Oldenburg "for free and outside". An Open-Air-Festival located in the city center and lasting for several weeks which presents the graphic arts as well as the interpretative arts, jazz, rock and pop music and many formidable events with renowned artists from Germany and abroad.
